It seems like an impossible fantasy to merge two worlds as disparate as that of Julio Iglesias with garage rock. Doctor Explosion has achieved this by combining Julio Iglesias's most iconic lyrics ("Soy un truhán, soy un señor") with Bo Diddley's "I am man" in a 60s psychedelic punk version, in a live take full of fuzz from Circo Perrotti studios and with all the wildness and energy of the best garage rock a la Back from the Grave.

The B side is equally impressive: "Sucio Roberto" is a cover of the Wailers classic "Dirty Robber," a blast of rock and roll in the purest Sonics style with that harmonically distorted atmosphere in the recording, so characteristic of the most primitive garage rock. It's worth noting the fabulous saxophone sound by Juan Flores (Ilegales), and the fun Spanish lyrics.
