An unusual collaboration between Jaime Urrutia (lead singer of Gabinete Caligari), one of the most iconic voices in Spanish pop, and Doctor Explosion, who join their talents and voices in this first volume of the series "La Extraña Pareja" to produce two songs as exciting as they are unexpected.

"Ella No Eres Tú," an old Doctor Explosion song in Beat style, takes on that genuine and rockin' air when sung by Jaime that it almost sounds like one of his own songs.

To complete the experiment, it was recorded at Circo Perrotti, adding some psychedelic fuzz touches and the keyboards of the brilliant Esteban Hirschfeld, from Los Mockers of Uruguay.

On the B side arrives "Pitusa" (an original by Jaime), which is reinvented with the spirit of Doctor Explosion in a Texan beat style with elements of country and rock and roll in the style of Bobby Fuller Four or Buddy Holly, with an explosive energy loaded with twang on the guitar and without losing a bit of its original elegance.

Castizo rock meets Texas garage pop.
